Before forming BCM Group, he served as President of Romaco USA, Inc. He was responsible for the strategic direction, including sales and marketing, manufacturing, and service activities serving North American pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, and food manufacturers.
Mr. Cairns has held senior New Business Development and Sales Management positions at SIGPack Systems, Robert Bosch Packaging, West Pharmaceutical Services, and E.R. Squibb & Sons. He was an original member of the start-up team for Eisai USA, a major Japanese pharmaceutical, vitamin, and equipment manufacturer.
Mr. Cairns earned a B.S. in Biology from Norwich University, America's first private military college. He is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP) and has served on the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute's Global Marketing Committee. Past positions include serving as a member and trainer for the North Texas Technology Council and a 20-year+ member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE). His most recent articles were published in Life Science Leader and Clinical Leader Magazines in the U.S., Pharmaceutical Technology Europe, and DeviceMed in Germany.
